Little Red Dress Party

This is a fun little event that my friends and coworkers and I like to attend each year. It has been held at Aloft  hotel in Birmingham for as long as I’ve been going. It’s aim is to raise awareness for heart disease, which is the number one killer of women! It’s a fun evening with a serious cause. It’s free and there are always prizes, vendors, and good food. This year I decided to document some of my style  favorites that I spotted throughout the evening!

Nothing says girly like lace and draping necklines worn here by Heather and Hannah Beth. One is a classic, the other a completely modern take on a red dress, but both feminine just the same.

Sara Beth is not wearing red, but I loved it so I had to feature her. The simple long sleeve dress is appropriate for winter with the black tights and Mary Jane heels. Her super modern, sleek haircut really brings this style all together!

Lindsay and Danielle look stunning in these avant garde red dresses. I love the structured shoulders, feminine silhouettes and extra somethings that each one has…Danielle’s has a peplum and Lindsay’s has front pockets! Very modern numbers paired with booties!

This lovely couple are matched perfectly. Krystal is wearing a classic silhouette jersey dress with a rouched waist and bust (very slimming). I love how the red tie adds a pop of color to Sloan’s navy suit!

My friend Katherine and I, are donning our red dresses with some snazzy black printed tights. It’s a great way to draw attention down to the legs, while adding something special with pattern!

Stephanie and Emily added black  jackets to their outfits. Nothing adds shape and polish to any outfit quite like a structured jacket!

So many things done right with this lovely lady’s ensemble! She put all the right touches on a classic red shift dress. The black leather belt defines a waistline, the two texture leather jacket adds structure. The chunky chain necklace definitely makes a statement and she’s paired it all with a classic black pump. She looks good enough to be holding office and would definitely give Hillary Clinton a run for her money in this outfit! Her companion has joined in the festivities and added a nice touch of red to his suit with a diagonal striped tie!

Last, but not least, it’s all in the details with these gorgeous girls’ dresses. On the left, this modern 3/4 sleeve dress is trimmed in eye catching metallic beads while her friend has subtle feminine touches with bows on the hips.

I hope you enjoyed my favorites from this fun evening for a great cause! Which ones are your favorite?
