It’s so much fun to play Fashion Police right from my couch with all the award shows going on right now! Here are my favorites and least favorites from the Oscars. See if you agree! Lots of trends going on; Bright colors, metallics and pale hues were popular. Let’s start with the Don’ts….they have a common theme too. 😉
Brandi Glanville, from “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”. (In case you couldn’t guess that she’s a reality star) I mean, do I really even need to say it? This dress is her own design. Maybe she has a line of pasties with tassels, coming out for Spring?
Really Heidi? Usually I like her fashion choices. This one has Adult Film awards written all over it!
This is partly placement of the darting and partly a “nip” issue, but it doesn’t matter, it looks like she could cut glass with those things! The back is a little more interesting, but the front just looks like a bad bridesmaid dress anyway. Fail.
Kristen Stewart actually looks happy and demure in this pale peachy Reem Acra gown. I think I’d prefer without the toulle ruffles, but it’s still pretty.
I actually like this metallic Calvin Klein dress she wore after the show even better. This is an appropriate amount of cleavage!
Metallic was a popular choice that night! Jessica Chastain looks amazing as always in Armani Prive!
Loving the sheer back of this metallic studded Naeem Khan gown that Stacy Keibler wore!
One of my personal favorites of the night! Reese Witherspoon in an old Hollywood glam inspired Louis Vuitton. This color is already set to be popular for spring!
Another bright color. Jennifer Anniston looks lovely in this Valentino red ball gown.
The handsome Gents
Most of the men wore tuxes that weren’t really much to talk about, but how cute does Eddie Redmayne look in this Alexander McQueen tux with cigar loafers?!
I also like this tailored Calvin Klein suit on actor, Aaron Tveit, just something a little different. I dig the skinny tie and satin lapel!
Did I miss any good ones?! Who was your favorite?
(By the way these are not my photos, nor do I pretend to own any rights to them. Clearly I was not at the Oscars)
